Prof. Dr. Bahar İnce

Prof. Dr. Bahar Ince is graduated from METU, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering in 1988. She received her MSc in 1990 and PhD in 1994 from the Department of Environmental Engineering at University of Newcastle upon Tyne (England). She became “Associate Professor” in 1995 and “Professor” in 2002.

She has been involved in technical studies within the scope of R&D projects at prominent universities of America (University of California-Berkeley, University of Texas at Austin, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Purdue University, Iowa State University, etc).  She held various positions at the Institute of Environmental Sciences of BU, such as Deputy Director and Member of the Board of Directors. Currently, she is a Member of the Board of Directors of BU TTO A.Ş., a Member of the Intellectual Property Commission and Co-Chair of the BU-ITU Microbial Ecology Group (MEG)

Prof. Dr. Bahar Ince has managed and supervised over 300 scientific research and engineering projects in the fields of environmental and energy technologies areas including, Waste to Energy Technologies, Composting, Solis and Hazardous Wastes Management, Waste and Treatment Sludge Management, Industrial Pollution and Control, Design, Control and Operation of Waste Disposal and Treatment Systems, Protection of Natural Ecosystems.

Prof. Dr. Bahar Ince is the faculty member of the Institute of Environmental Sciences at Boğaziçi University  University (BU),  the founding partner and R&D Director of ENGY Energy and Environmental  Technologies Research and Development Company.
